21 December
We have ‘Early Ril’ apricots on the Stall in 3 kg bags and 6 kg boxes.
This is an old variety of apricot which has a great flavour.
Sundrop apricots should be on the Stall in about a week’s time. They are colouring up but still too green to pick.
PYO won’t be starting until about the 8th January. Will keep you posted.
Stella cherries are on the go now.
Wilson’s Early plums are coming on so will have them on the Stall by the weekend with the odd bag or two until then.
Liseta new spuds are freshly dug each morning. We sell them in 2 kg bags.
Today has been extremely cold so Mum and Ruby have been kitted out in their puffer jackets.
Tomorrow the weather will be great as will the weekend.

And If we haven’t got a fruit variety you want we will recommend a Fruit Stall that will.
29 November
The weather was unkind to our early cherries so the opening of our Fruit Stall has been delayed by about 10 days, hopefully coinciding with the arrival of our spuds and Dawson Cherries. Stay tuned

Some photos of the creek in flood this afternoon during the big downpour. The creek had reached its limit so decided to detour through and around the packing shed and over the road. ? #herculesflatdownpour

Even with our cherry netting up the Starlings are looking for any oppurtunity to find a way in and attack the cherries. Thankfully Big Bertha is on the job and today her tripod arrived meaning she can now rotate automatically after every “boom”. The direction of the sound changes each time she rotates and startles the little blighters even more 🙂 #cherriesnotstarlings #savethefruit #bigberthaprotectorofherculesflatfruit

Ruby out thinning nectarines on her hydralada 🙂

Our new cherry netting was a bit late in arriving due to a slow ship!?️ Just a slight mad panic to get it up today as the birds were already attacking the still green cherries.? Thankfully the damage was minimal as Big Bertha (our bird scarer) has helped fend off the marauding flocks 😉
