This weekend on the Stall we have Cox’s Orange apples and Omega plums. π
The Cox’s Orange are a great eating and cooking apple and are available in 5kg bags for $6 and 10kg bags for $12. π
Omega plums are a fantastic plum with a red flesh and reddish speckled skin.
They are great keepers and also happen to be my favourite plum. π
You can eat, cook, bottle and jam them.
We have them in 3kg bags for $9 and 6kg boxes for $18. π
We still have a few Black Doris plums and Bon Chretien pears on the Stall but they will be done and dusted by Sunday.
Royal Gala apples will be available on the Stall next weekend. π
1 March
We now have Coxβs Orange apples on the Stall! π
They are nice and crunchy and are great for eating and cooking. π
We have them available in 5kg bags for $6 and 10kg bags for $12.
We still have the last of our Bon Chretien pears on the Stall as well.Β

Omega plums start this weekend and we will have them available in 1st and 2nd grade boxes on the Stall from Saturday onwards. π

This weekend on the Stall we have Black Doris plums and the last of our Bon Chretien pears.
Bon Chretien pears are great for bottling and eating and are available in 5kg bags for $6 and 10kg for $12. π
Black Doris plums are brilliant for bottling, jam, sauce and eating and are available in both 1st ($3/kg) and 2nd grade ($2.50/kg). π
Remember: The βdustβ on the plums is a natural bloom and is easily rubbed or washed off if you so desire (not essentialΒ though as it has no effect on the flavour). π
Our popular Purple King plums have finished as have our Red Gravenstein apples.
Omega plums are about a 10 days away.
Coxβs Orange apples should be ready to roll by next Wednesday.
Royal Gala apples should start around March 10.

We still have Purple King plums and Bon Chretien pears on the Stall. π
Purple Kings will be over by Friday but the Bon Chretiens will be available until early next week.
From Saturday onwards we will have Black Doris plums available on the Stall in both 1st and 2nd grade boxes.
Coxβs Orange apples are about a week away and Royal Gala should be ready around March 10 π

We also have delicious Purple King plums in 3kg bags for $9. π
Purple King are a sweet, juicy, red skinned/yellow fleshed plum that kids just love! The βdustβ on the plums is a natural bloom and is easily rubbed or washed off if you so desire (not essential though as it has no effect on the flavour). π
Red Gravenstein apples are still available and are in 2.5kg bags for $5
Black Doris plums should be ready next week and Omega around the first week of March. π

Another busy day with PYO nectarines. π
It looks like we will be out of them by tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
Bon Chretien pears start tomorrow. 10kg bags for $12.
Bon Chretien are the classic pear for bottling, stewing and eating. π
Burbank plums will also be available from tomorrow onwards. 3kg bags for $9.
Burbank are a yellow flesh plum with a yellow-reddish skin and are a great all-purpose plum. Perfect for eating, bottling, freezing and jam π
Black Amber plums are on the Stall in 4kg boxes for $12. They are a great eating plum with a yellow flesh and a deep black/purple skin. π
We still have delicious Red Gravenstein apples in 2.5kg bags for $5. π
Purple King plums should start next Tuesday.
Black Doris plums are about another week away.
Coxβs Orange apples and Omega plums should be ready towards the end of the month. π
February 7
The next round of Nectarines have finally decided to ripen so as from tomorrow they will be available for PYO at $1.90 kg. π
No need to race up though as they will be available until at least next weekend smile emoticon
The nectarines are freestone and great for eating and bottling.
The Billington plums are very popular and we will have them for another few days on the Stall in 3kg bags – $10-00 and 5kg bags – $15-00.
Our very first apple, the Red Gravenstein, is available in 2.5 kg bags for $5-00. The main crop of apples starts in March.
The Bon Chretien pears should be ready to pick in a few days time so they will be on the Fruit Stall by the end of the week. π
Even though we are out of apricots, there are still plenty in the Valley, so a trip up here will not be wasted.
The Black Doris plums will be a bit late this year but will definitely be in by the end of the month at the very latest. Omegas should start early March. π
February 5
This weekend on the Fruit Stall we have:
Billington plums – 3kg bags $9-00 – an all purpose plum which has red flesh – great for bottling – eating – stewing – freezing. π
Black Amber plums – 3kg bags $10-00 – yellow flesh with a tinge of red. A really nice eating plum.
Shiro plums – 2 kg bags $6-00 – a great yellow skinned/fleshed eating plum.
Red Gravenstein apples in 2.5 kg bags – $5-00
These are our first apple of the Season and are great for both cooking and eating. π
Bon Chretien pears are still a few days away as the sugar levels arenβt high enough to pick yet.
PYO Nectarines are still a few days away as are Peaches.
There is a lot of wonderful fruit available throughout the Valley so a trip up to Roxburgh will not be wasted. π
