Quinces will be on the Stall from Saturday. 🙂
A good amount of pre-orders will be sent out early next week with the rest later in the week.

Quince Jelly is delicious as is Quince Jam. 🙂
And bottled quinces are very popular as they turn pink during processing.
Or cook up a big pot of quinces and your family will be impressed when they open the fridge door.
Great with breakfast cereal or with chocolate custard.
Quinces are not eaten raw as the flesh is very hard and sour, however, cooking softens the flesh and transforms the taste to a cross between an apple and a pear.
Braeburn apples are on the go now.
Crunchy Royal Gala and Red Delicious are still being picked so you haven’t missed out on them.

First pick of Braeburn apples today.
They have a delicious, crisp, juicy flesh and are a great eating and cooking apple.
They are also excellent keepers. 🙂
Great for crumbles, pies, muffins and any other recipe that requires an apple. 😉
Stewed apples and custard is an easy dessert.
A lot of my mates stew up a pot full of apples and have them with store bought custard.
Those more adventurous make a simple custard from scratch.
Real blokes own an Edmonds Cookbook. 😉
We also have Red Delicious apples on the Stall as well.
They are nice and crunchy with a lovely red skin.
Royal Gala are still available and are lovely and sweet and a hit with the kids.
All apples are in 10kg bags for $12 and 5kg bags for $6. 🙂

Golden Delicious is a large, yellowish-green skinned heritage apple that has great flavour and is great for cooking and eating. 🙂

This weekend on the Stall we have Cox’s Orange apples and Omega plums. 🙂
The Cox’s Orange are a great eating and cooking apple and are available in 5kg bags for $6 and 10kg bags for $12. 🙂
Omega plums are a fantastic plum with a red flesh and reddish speckled skin.
They are great keepers and also happen to be my favourite plum. 😉
You can eat, cook, bottle and jam them.
We have them in 3kg bags for $9 and 6kg boxes for $18. 🙂
We still have a few Black Doris plums and Bon Chretien pears on the Stall but they will be done and dusted by Sunday.
Royal Gala apples will be available on the Stall next weekend. 🙂

This weekend on the Stall we have Black Doris plums and the last of our Bon Chretien pears.
Bon Chretien pears are great for bottling and eating and are available in 5kg bags for $6 and 10kg for $12. 🙂
Black Doris plums are brilliant for bottling, jam, sauce and eating and are available in both 1st ($3/kg) and 2nd grade ($2.50/kg). 🙂
Remember: The “dust” on the plums is a natural bloom and is easily rubbed or washed off if you so desire (not essential though as it has no effect on the flavour). 🙂
Our popular Purple King plums have finished as have our Red Gravenstein apples.
Omega plums are about a 10 days away.
Cox’s Orange apples should be ready to roll by next Wednesday.
Royal Gala apples should start around March 10.
