Royal gala and Cox’s Orange apples are available in 5kg and 10kg bags on the Stall.
Royal Gala are sweet, crisp, and crunchy for eating and Cox’s Orange are wonderful for cooking and also eating – they are now tree ripened for those who like them a bit sweeter.
Also have 2nd grade boxes available of both apple varieties.

Fruit update
There is a plentiful supply of Cox’s Orange apples and Omega plums available on the Stall.
Cox’s Orange are a delicious tart apple to eat and has a gorgeous flavour when cooked Available in 5kg and 10kg bags and 2nd grade boxes.
Omega plums are available in 3kg bags, 6kg boxes and 7kg 2nd grade boxes – they are great for eating, stewing, jam, sauce, chutney and wine-making
I am still sending out both Cox’s Orange and Omega’s…. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – You can order a box of either fruit or I can mix n match the amounts – just send me a text with what you want.
Royal Gala apples will be available on the Stall from Wednesday 10 March. I will be starting to send these out in 10kg and 15kg boxes the following week

Cox’s Orange is an old variety, they are a delicious tart apple to eat and are also a great cooking apple
Omega plums are red flesh, a long keeper and are great for both eating and cooking.
They are cling-stone so we bottle the small ones whole
I freeze a huge amount for making jam in winter and also stewing up for puddings or cakes They can also be used for sauce or wine-making.

Another beautiful sunny day – a lovely 25 degrees at the moment ☀️☀️
Bon Chretien pears will come to a finish by mid next week.
We also have 2nd Grade pears (wind-marked) available as well in 10kg bags and 15kg boxes ??
Black Doris plums are up and running…the rest of the pre-orders will be sent out this coming week and all orders which are to be picked up from the Fruit Stall will be ready over the next week – will contact you when they are ready ?

A gorgeous day here today it was a dreadful cold start to the morning when my alarm went at 4am…..2 degrees! So I figured it would end up a great day and I was right
Black Doris plum orders started going out this week on the Courier and the rest will leave here next week.
If you are picking up your order you will hear from me shortly as I am working through the list. Feel free to contact me if you want an update
Meanwhile I have boxes/bags of 2nd grade Black Doris on the Fruit Stall suitable for sauce and jam and also boxes of smallish Black Doris which are great for bottling whole Mum (Sandra) and I both do the plums this way
We also still have Purple King in 2.5kg bags and Bon Chretien Pears available in 5kg and 10kg bags.
Purple King will be finished by Saturday but the pears will be here until towards the end of next week
Cox’s Orange apples is still on track for March 1 and Royal Gala will be available from March 10

Fruit Update
What a gorgeous day it has been The temperature reached 33 degrees this afternoon and I have just checked our weather station and it is currently 25 degrees. Tomorrow is predicted to be just as hot as today
On the Stall we have Bon Chretien Pears in 5kg and 10kg bags, Purple King plums in 2.5kg bags and Red Gravenstein apples also in 2.5kg bags
Red Gravenstein will be finished by Monday evening and Purple King will be finished by next weekend – still have a plentiful supply of Bon Chretien pears though – sending out in 10kg and 15kg boxes so flick me a message if you would like a box
Black Doris will be available on the Stall from Monday the 22nd

Nectarine update
Heaps of PYO nectarines were sold today – I had assumed they would be finished by the end of today but I was wrong I kind of under-estimated the amount on the trees so PYO nectarines will continue tomorrow
Billington plums, Purple King plums, tree ripened Red Gravenstein apples and Bon Chretien pears are in plentiful supply on the Fruit Stall

??Fruit Update ??
All apricots are now finished for the Season but there are still plenty in the Valley at other Fruit Stalls.
PYO nectarines will be available on Saturday 6 February – bring your own containers ?? we have buckets and bags available for $1 each.
I am predicting these will be gone in one day as they are very much in demand. Sorry we won’t have them on the Fruit Stall – this is our very last nectarine variety.
We have delicious Purple King plums and the end of the Billington plums on the Stall ??? ??
Also available are tree ripened Red Gravenstein apples which are great for both eating and cooking

We have plenty of Clutha gold and Trevatt apricots on the Fruit Stall Both varieties are great for bottling, freezing, stewing, jam and eating.
We also have Billington plums which are great for eating, jam, sauce, etc.
Our first apple of the Season is the Red Gravenstein which are great for cooking and eating They are a tart apple but very delicious – sold in 2.5 kg bags.
The main crops of apples are still a few weeks away.
The last variety of PYO Nectarines should be ready by Waitangi Day.
Bon Chrétien pears should also be ready by the beginning of Waitangi weekend – will keep you posted
