30 January

Today was a lovely hot day and was enjoyed by all of us here on the Orchard.
Due to a huge influx of PYOers the past few days, we are suspending PYO Moorparks until Friday (February 3) to allow the remaining fruit to ripen up 🙂
There is still plenty out there, they just need to work on their tan ?
The ridiculous lack of summer weather throughout January has caused the fruit to ripen unevenly. Mum says this season is the most unsettled she has seen in her 27 years of orcharding. ?

We have plenty of PYO Roxburgh Red apricots still available and should have them until Saturday.
The Roxburgh Red are sweet and full of flavour this season so are perfect for eating, bottling, freezing and jam

Mum’s been flat out in her limited spare time bottling and jamming (with the occassional bit of freezing as well) 😉

On the Stall we have Shiro and Black Amber plums available in 3.3kg boxes for $10 and Red Gravenstein apples in 2.5kg bags for $5.
We have a wide range of 2nd grade apricots available as well
