Fruit update ??
Well what a day we have all had!!
Finally the weather forecast was correct….we did indeed have rain and plenty of it! ☔☔?️?️??
Some brave souls ventured into the Orchard to PYO their apricots and actually had a great time albeit a very wet time ??️☂️
With a bit of luck, tomorrow will be okay???
But there is good news…. there is plenty of Moorpark and Roxburgh Red apricots still on the trees for PYO and from tomorrow on we will have PYO Stevens Favourite apricots available as well ??
The plums and Bon Cretien pears are taking their time in ripening ??? Oh no hurry guys…..yes I am kidding, just hurry up and ripen please ???
Black Amber plums are probably a week away and the pears are maybe 10 days away ?
Mum, (Sandra) has never had such a crazy season in all of her 30 seasons on the Orchard ??
She always says ‘One must have nerves of steel if one chooses to be an Orchardist.’ How right she is! ??
