Nearly Bird Scarer time again
The starlings and blackbirds are eyeing up the nectarines and are already trying their hardest to peck through the netting to get to the ripening cherries
A good occasional blast from the gas-fired scarers will put paid to their nonsense
“Big Bertha and “Captain Jack” are thrilled at the prospect of being put to work once again
Here’s a nostalgic photo of Sandra (Mum) and ‘Big Bertha’ back in 2015……they go back a long way. The cherry block is a lot different compared to nowadays.
As we only sell what we grow, we hope to be open about mid-December with both new spuds and Dawson cherries
Will keep you posted
Remember when we open, our hours will be 7am – 9pm through to early June
If you have any fruit queries or would like to place an order, please txt or phone me (Ruby) on 027 288 6090.
