YO Fruit Update
PYO of all varieties of apricots will finish tomorrow – there should be enough to take us through to late afternoon – it is mostly ladder work now.
We will still have bagged and boxed apricots on the Stall tomorrow and during the weekend and beyond as we have an area especially marked out for Stall Fruit which Sam picks daily.
Shiro Plums have now finished – Billington plums are in full swing – these are a lovely small red flesh plum, great for eating, bottling and stewing, etc.
Mum (Sandra) bottles these whole and I must say they taste great

Red Gravenstein – our very first apple – are still a week away
Bon Chretian Pears are roughly 10 days away

Black Doris plums are still about 2-3 weeks away as are Purple King plums

And we are just over a month away for our Royal Gala apples and from then we will have many other varieties to follow

Here’s my Mum, Sandra, busy helping stock the Fruit Stall, all ready to pull up her mask at the dot of 7

This is her 32nd Fruit Season and is still going strong
